Non-invasive facial rejuvenation options

Facial rejuvenation procedures are a popular avenue sought after by a number of different individuals seeking to improve the appearance of their skin making them look a lot younger than they are. There are a number of different options that are available to patients and can be broadly classified into invasive and non-invasive procedures. Invasive procedures primarily involve ‘going under the knife’ while non-invasive procedures can be as simple as a 30 min session undergoing Botox® injections or laser rejuvenation.

These days, patients often preferred non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures, primarily because they are cheaper than invasive procedures and take a lot less time. But what are these non-invasive facial rejuvenation options? Let’s take a brief look at them.

One of the commonly adopted non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures is botulinum toxin injections. While technically they may sound like an invasive procedure as they involve injections, the fact that it does not require surgery would technically implying that this is not invasive. Botox injections have become extremely popular treating facial wrinkles along with other skin irregularities such as fine lines and crows feet. The procedure is fairly straightforward and only takes a few minutes to perform in the hands of an expert. Treatments are reasonably priced and given the popularity among celebrities and the good outcomes that are clearly visible in a few minutes, Botox® injections have become one of the most popular non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments.

Another similar non-invasive procedure is dermal fillers. This involves injecting a natural filler such as hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring component in skin and cartilaginous tissues in the body, into skin irregularities or even lips to help pump up the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Yet again, dermal fillers only take a short while perform and are easily affordable when compared to invasive cosmetic surgery.

Laser rejuvenation is another non-invasive cosmetic technique that has become rather popular. There are a number of different kinds of laser rejuvenation treatments that include BroadBand Light phototherapy, pulsed infrared therapy, Pro-Fractional therapy and Micro Laser Peel. These procedures breakdown inactive collagen and help the growth of new collagen under the skin. When this occurs, the skin appears young and rejuvenated. Treating just parts of the face takes about 30 to 45 minutes and a  full-face treatment takes up to two hours.

Why is it that non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures have become so popular? The reasons are fairly straightforward. Firstly, having cosmetic surgery that involves gentle anaesthetic and the use of a scalpel blade can be quite daunting. Furthermore, these procedures are accompanied by extremely high costs and on occasions have associated risks from either the anaesthetic or on the surgery itself. However, compared to open cosmetic surgery, non-invasive procedures have minimal bleeding, are relatively painless and are over in just a few minutes. In other words, the risks are minimum and they are not to hard-hitting on the pocket either.

If you are seeking out younger looking skin, take a look at the non-invasive facial rejuvenation options that are available locally. You will be pleasantly surprised by the results that you see!
