About Dr. Price

Dr. Cynthia Price is a board-certified dermatologist, board-certified pediatrician, and fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist who serves as an IAPAM trainer for cosmetic injectable training programs. She is the founder and Medical Director of SkinScience by Cynthia Price, MD, in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, where she treats adult, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology patients.

Education and Training

Dr. Price grew up in Scottsdale and earned her Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology and psychology from the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She completed medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2004, graduating at the top of her class. She then completed a pediatric residency at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine from 2004 to 2008, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2008 to 2011, where she served as chief resident. She additionally completed a full-year clinical research fellowship in pediatric dermatology at the University of Miami.

Clinical Research and Recognition

As principal investigator, Dr. Price led a multi-center research trial on infantile hemangiomas that achieved national recognition. She began her clinical career in 2011 at Linder Dermatology in Scottsdale, which became SkinScience, and has since built expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including injectables, chemical peels, and laser therapy. She holds hospital affiliations with Banner Desert Medical Center, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center. Dr. Price was recently featured in Modern Luxury Scottsdale‘s “Revealed: Scottsdale’s 2026 Wellness Experts,” a feature highlighting leading local health and beauty professionals.

Industry Leadership

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Price serves as a national injectable expert for Galderma and as a key opinion leader for PCA Skin and SkinBetter Science, reflecting her recognized authority in aesthetic injectables and skincare science. As an IAPAM trainer, she brings this hands-on clinical and research expertise directly into aesthetic medicine training programs for licensed healthcare providers.
