FAQs

Who is eligible for training?

Online training certificates are open to licensed medical professionals with the following designations: MD/DO, DMD/DDS, NP/APRN/CRNA, PA, RN. Other support staff may take online training if the training topic is within their scope of practice.

Hands-on training is open to: MD/DO, DMD/DDS, NP/APRN/CRNA, PA. RNs are eligible for the online training only, but must be sponsored by their supervisor to attend hands-on training. Other support staff may attend the didactic for informational purposes at a reduced rate.

It is recommended you check with your local governing body to ensure you are working within your scope of practice prior to registering for training.

How long do I have access to the course?

For any online courses, you will have unlimited access for 365 days with each certification renewal. Come back and review the information as much as you like – even after you’ve completed your training! Individual courses are 12-months from your purchase date.

Our Certified Medical Weight Management Provider™ (CWMP) program is an annual certification and will automatically renew on your anniversary date.

How long do the courses take?

Training times vary depending on the person, but on average, each online course can take you anywhere from 7-10 hours to complete.

For hands-on training, you may choose from 2, 3 or 4-day training packages. Training hours are 8am-530pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then 8am-230pm on Monday.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes, upon the successful completion of each online course you will be emailed your certificate.

CME certificates are available under a separate assessment at the end of any qualifying courses.

For hands-on training, you will receive your certificate upon completing the in-person training.

How are the courses designed?

Online courses are designed as self-study training modules that you can do at your own pace. They include a combination of text lectures, detailed videos and comprehensive downloadable content.

In-person, hands-on training is delivered in a fun and interactive environment with our comprehensive experiential training weekend led by board-certified dermatologists and including experienced injection trainers who have treated thousands of patients.

Can I earn CMEs?

Yes, the following online courses are eligible for CMEs: Introduction to Cosmetic Injectables (8), Advanced Cosmetic Injectables (9), Aesthetic Lasers & Body Contouring (5), Introduction to PRP for Aesthetics (5), Certified Medical Weight Management Provider™ (CWMP) (5).

For the hands-on training with the 4-day Practice Accelerator Program, this is accredited for up to 33.5 CMEs for all 4-days.

What is the cancellation policy?

Any registration, training or renewal fees are non-refundable once paid. You may cancel your renewal of membership or any renewing certifications at any time and retain access to your courses for the remainder of your certification year with no penalty.

In-person training fees are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel, you may reschedule your training dates. If cancellation is less than 14 days from your original training dates, a $500 rebooking fee may apply.
