IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium’s aesthetic laser and tattoo removal training represent the most comprehensive minimally invasive modality training for physicians new to the aesthetic medicine field.
We focus on training physicians and their medical staff in the best practices for device-based aesthetic medicine treatments using lasers, light sources and radio frequency devices to grow their education and grow their practice.
As part of the aesthetic laser and tattoo removal training program, participants will have the opportunity to learn the top five minimally invasive procedures including laser hair removal.
You will also learn about tattoo removal, another highly sought aesthetic medical treatment by patients who got tattoos – many as young adults – and now regret their decision.

As with all IAPAM aesthetic medicine courses, you will have access to expert training on how to perform dermal filling procedures the right way, with the opportunity for “hands-on” training in our boot camps. You will also learn how to use dermal filler tools and equipment safely and effectively.
As part of your dermal filler course, you will learn about the possible complications of the procedure, pain control and potential local reactions to the agents.
Allergic reactions are worrying, and managing these will also be discussed in detail.
It is essential that a good follow up plan be in place following any procedure.
We will conclude our training by discussing the ideal follow up plan, and what to expect when your patient returns to see you.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Unlike hands-on Botox injection training in the US, American physicians can only take part in dermal filler injection trainings under the guidance of a medical director.
In the US, a physician CANNOT inject a dermal filler in a state they do not have a medical license.
If you don’t have any experience injecting dermal fillers, your first step is to attend the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, here you will receive the didactive and live demonstration portion of the dermal filler courses.
Our intensive hands-on dermal filler training is open to physicians (MD/DO), physician’s assistants (PA), nurse practitioners (NP), and nurses (RN, LPN) who will have the opportunity to take part in IAPAM’s two training programs held in Toronto, Canada.
The IAPAM Botox/Filler Training Bootcamp is open to medical professionals with some experience injecting Botox Cosmetic® and dermal fillers, and who want more training. Our Advanced Dermal Filler Training Bootcamp course requires you to have at least six months of filler injection experience.
If you don’t have any experience injecting dermal fillers, your first step is to attend the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, here you will receive the didactive and live demonstration portion of the dermal filler courses.
