Dermal fillers are one of quickest and most non-invasive options for patients seeking to rejuvenate and revitalize their youthful appearance.
By reconstituting the epidermal elements collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin, dermal filler can help restore the natural elasticity of the skin that is lost with aging. The results are immediate and side effects are minimal.
Today, a wide range of dermal fillers exist to fill in frown lines, add volume to thinning lips, give contour to a sagging jaw line, and lift cheeks.
This versatility – and its ability to treat so many areas of the face and neck – means that almost every client who wants to look younger can benefit from dermal filler; making it an ideal addition to your practice for both added revenue and patient satisfaction.
Medical professionals including physicians, physician’s assistants, dentists, and nurse practitioners, who participate in

IAPAM’s Aesthetic Medicine Symposium’s aesthetic laser and tattoo removal training represent the most comprehensive minimally invasive modality training for physicians new to the aesthetic medicine field.
We focus on training physicians and their medical staff in the best practices for device-based aesthetic medicine treatments using lasers, light sources and radio frequency devices to grow their education and grow their practice.
As part of the aesthetic laser and tattoo removal training program, participants will have the opportunity to learn the top five minimally invasive procedures including laser hair removal.
You will also learn about tattoo removal, another highly sought aesthetic medical treatment by patients who got tattoos – many as young adults – and now regret their decision.
In addition to overviews of current clinical research, participants spend a half a day of the symposium on laser training, learning from leaders in the industry. Our comprehensive training covers the following:

Our dermal filler courses as part of the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox® Training Conference provides participants with the knowledge needed to GROW their practices.
Offer dermal filler to patients ready to reverse the clock on aging.
Take away from the symposium a deep and thorough understanding of dermal fillers and the types of collagen and elastin deficiencies in the skin they can improve.
Learn the differences between permanent and non-permanent fillers and the types of dermal fillers including collagen and hyaluronic acid fillers.
Explore how, when performed accurately and with the right equipment, dermal fillers offer dramatic and long lasting results for your patients.
Explore the uses of hyaluronic acid fillers, the most popular amongst all fillers, and learn which fillers are best suited for your patient’s unique needs.
Note: IAPAM only recommends using FDA approved treatments to ensure the safety of your patients.
As with all IAPAM aesthetic medicine courses, you will have access to expert training on how to perform dermal filling procedures the right way, with the opportunity for “hands-on” training in our boot camps. You will also learn how to use dermal filler tools and equipment safely and effectively.
As part of your dermal filler course, you will learn about the possible complications of the procedure, pain control and potential local reactions to the agents.
Allergic reactions are worrying, and managing these will also be discussed in detail.
It is essential that a good follow up plan be in place following any procedure.
We will conclude our training by discussing the ideal follow up plan, and what to expect when your patient returns to see you.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Unlike hands-on Botox injection training in the US, American physicians can only take part in dermal filler injection trainings under the guidance of a medical director.
In the US, a physician CANNOT inject a dermal filler in a state they do not have a medical license.
