Success Tips - Personal Development Practices

I’m sure you’ve read a common theme when you read about the most successful people. That theme being they all seem to be “morning people.”

They brag about how they get up at 4, 5 or 6 in the morning and they get more done by 9am than others do all day.

Here is the secret to being a morning person: Hal Erlod actually wrote an instruction manual on how to create a morning routine, and it’s called “The Miracle Morning.”

There are tips for those just getting started, with his “5-Step Snooze-Proof Wake-up Strategy,” some of which include: set your intentions before bed and move your alarm clock across the room!

The real gem of this book is his six powerful, proven personal development practices known as the Life SAVERS.

The SAVERS are like puzzle pieces, once you start combining them, that is when the big picture becomes clearer and the results start to appear.

The SAVERS are: Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing.

He also recommends customizing your morning routine for what works for you, which is exactly what I did.

My morning routine consists of getting up at 6am, followed by: affirmations, journalling (scribing), reading, and exercise.

It took me a few weeks, but I now have a morning routine that allows me to start my day off on a positive note, and stay recharged longer.

For those who may find the full routine a bit intimidating, you can start with baby steps, and do his simple, 6-Minute Miracle.

There are even morning routine versions for personal development practices in his books for sales peopleentrepreneursmillionairesparentscollege students (I got my daughter this one!), writersnetwork marketersreal estate agents, and for those for addiction recovery.
