You will have unlimited access so long as you’re part of the certification program. Certification renews annually at a rate of $597. Come back and review the information as much as you like and stay up to date on new training and medication coming to market!
Training times vary depending on the person, but on average, it should take you between 7-10 hours to complete.
Yes, Medical Weight Management is accredited for 5 CMEs.
There is an assessment at the end of the course you will need to fill out. Once submitted, your certificate will be emailed to you.
Yes, upon the successful completion of the course you will be emailed your certificate.
Online courses are non-refundable once paid. You may cancel your renewal at any time before your annual renewal date or up to 7 days after your renewal date by emailing training @ iapam dot com with your cancellation request. If your renewal has been processed and it is within the 7 day cancellation grace period, you are eligible for a refund of your full renewal fee of $597. Any cancellation requests received 8 days or later after your renewal date will not be refunded, but will be cancelled for any future renewals and you will maintain access to your course for the remainder of the calendar year.
The course is designed as self-study training modules that you can do at your own pace. They include a combination of lectures, readings, videos and other downloadable content.
*Note: Zebpound™ (tirzepatide) is FDA-approval for weight loss as of November 8, 2023. Wegovy™ is FDA-approved for weight loss. Ozempic™ and Sermorelin are not FDA-approved for weight loss and considered an “off-label” treatment.
The AAFP has reviewed Medical Weight Management and deemed it acceptable for up to 5.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 09/01/2024 to 08/31/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
