You're Not Alone

Every Provider Who Attends Starts With the Same Questions

“What if I inject incorrectly and harm a patient?”

“I know clinical medicine — but aesthetics feels like starting over.”

“How do I set up a practice, handle the legal side, and actually get patients?”

“How do I get patients to trust me when I’m brand new to aesthetics?”

The IAPAM Aesthetic Medicine Symposium was built to answer every one of those questions — in four days, in a real clinical setting, with board-certified dermatologist faculty who have built the practices you want to build.

What Makes IAPAM Different

The Safest, Most Complete Training in Aesthetic Medicine

Safe Start Protocols™

Every technique you learn follows the IAPAM’s Safe Start Protocols — the same standards used by our board-certified dermatologist faculty in their own practices. You leave knowing not just how to inject, but how to do it safely and consistently for every patient.

Real Clinic. Live Patients.

Hands-on injection training takes place at SkinScience Dermatology — a working cosmetic dermatology practice in Scottsdale, not a hotel ballroom. Live models are provided. You practice on real patients in a real clinical environment, with faculty supervising every injection.

IAPAM 3-Step Botox® Protocol

The IAPAM’s proprietary 3-Step Botulinum Toxin Injection Training Protocol gives you a repeatable, evidence-based framework for dosage decisions, injection depth, and patient assessment — so you can deliver consistent results from your very first patient.

Business Training Is Not an Afterthought

Monday’s full-day Successful Practice Startup Workshop covers pricing strategy, marketing, legal and regulatory requirements (including Stark Law and supervising physician agreements), and startup costs. You leave with a personalized business plan — not just clinical skills.

Blended Learning Upgrade

Add the online didactic component and get instant access to the full curriculum before you arrive — so you walk in prepared, not overwhelmed. Retain access after the Symposium to review techniques and earn bonus CMEs at your own pace.

Successful Aesthetic Practice System™

The IAPAM’s complete framework for building a profitable aesthetic practice — from your first injection to your first $500K year. Developed over 20 years of training physicians, NPs, and PAs across every specialty.

The Real Business of Aesthetics

Injectables Alone Won't Build a Profitable Practice

Botox® is the entry point — not the revenue engine. Where practices make real money is through ancillary services your staff can perform while you see other patients.

The IAPAM's exclusive Successful Aesthetic Practice System™ teaches you the Top 5 Most Profitable Non-Invasive Procedures alongside the dermatologist-led 3-Step Botox® Training Protocol™ — so you leave with a complete clinical and business framework, not just injection technique.

Based on the best-selling practice management book, Secrets to a Successful Practice.

Questions Answered

Aesthetic Medicine Symposium FAQs

Five quick answers to the questions healthcare providers ask most before registering.

Who is the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium designed for?

The Symposium is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and their support staff who want comprehensive education in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic injectables, and GLP-1 medical weight management. Hands-on participation depends on professional designation, prescribing authority, supervision, and applicable scope-of-practice rules.

Do I need prior experience in aesthetic medicine or cosmetic injectables?

No. The curriculum is structured to build foundational knowledge before participants move into supervised hands-on training. It is designed to support both providers entering aesthetics and those expanding an existing practice.

How much of the Symposium is hands-on?

More than 40% of the program includes hands-on learning opportunities. Depending on professional eligibility and applicable requirements, this can include supervised Botox® injection training, treatment demonstrations, consultation exercises, and exposure to additional aesthetic technologies and procedures.

Where does the hands-on injection training take place?

Clinical Botox® injection training takes place in a real medical practice setting in Scottsdale, Arizona, rather than a hotel meeting room. This gives attendees experience in an environment that more closely reflects an appropriate clinical treatment setting. Classroom portions may be held at the designated hotel or meeting venue.

How many CME credits can I earn?

The complete four-day Aesthetic Medicine Symposium is accredited for up to 33.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits. The number you can claim depends on the sessions you attend and your participation. Review the current accreditation statement and registration materials for complete credit details and claiming instructions.
